Apropos Milligan, one evening in the mid- to late-80s, I was having a meal in a restaurant at the lower end of Charlotte Street with corporate film producer, John Loden. Spike Milligan's agent, Norma Farnes, was sitting alone at a nearby table. We ended up talking and went on long into the night, Norma regaling us with wonderful stories of Spike Milligan. Hilarious and sad by turns, laughter and tears.
Love it, thanks for Spike!!!
T.S. Ellott, Shakespeare, George Orwell and Spike Milligan quoted in the same article - I really like your style.
Well, John, they are geniuses - all four of 'em.
