Bravo, John. As it happens, in the Lord Saatchi speech that I referenced, he made the point that creativity is always fashioned from just three humble tools - words, pictures, music - and went on:
Consider just one of these powers – words, when they are the only possible words in the only possible order.
Words in poetry. When John Keats was writing in a coffee shop he asked his friend, Stevens:
"A thing of beauty is a constant joy. What think you of that, Stevens?"
No response. Keats carried on scribbling. An hour later he said:
"A thing of beauty is a joy forever."
"That", said Stevens, "will last forever." And it did.
